NORSK & DERECO starting to let student and business apartments in Saarbrücken

The nationwide project developer NORSK and multi-family office DERECO are beginning to let 208 student and business apartments on Meerwiesertalweg in Saarbrücken. The project was started two years ago. In future, the residential complex will be managed under the CAMPO NOVO brand by Hildebrandt Immobilien GmbH, which is also in charge of renting out the apartments. In total, some 6,345 square metres of residential floor space are under construction in central Saarbrücken. The project stretches over seven buildings, four to six storeys high. The apartment complex is expected to be completed in several stages from December 2022 onwards.

Our project on Meerwiesertalweg features new high-quality, modern apartments within a sustainable neighbourhood – all buildings meet the high energy standard of ‘Effizienzhaus 55.’ (Translator’s note: Buildings within this category consume 45 percent less energy than standard new buildings.) We have combined resources with an experienced partner, Hildebrandt Immobilien, who shares our philosophy and is committed to young, modern residential options.”

CAMPO NOVO Saarbrücken is developed on a 5,500-sqm plot in a central location with excellent infrastructure connections. In total, 164 completely furnished single and double apartments are built in five out of seven buildings. These apartments boast sufficient space for 183 beds. In terms of size, they vary between 20 and 45 square metres. The remaining two buildings will host 44 furnished business apartments in the range between 45 and 60 square metres. The underground car park of the housing complex has 86 bays for passenger cars. In addition, there are parking spaces outside for four cars plus capacities for e-charging columns. There are several bus stops nearby. Saarbrücken’s central station is less than a 15-minute ride away, and there is a connection to a national highway (“Bundesstrasse,” similar to a British A road). Situated between the campus of Universität des Saarlandes and the city centre of Saarbrücken, the geographic position of the project is excellently suited to cater for the needs of students and young professionals. Local offers for CAMPO NOVO residents will also include a food retailer and a beverage store.

This large project is financed through SaarLB and Nassauische Sparkasse. The structure was planned by BÄUERLE Architekten + Brandschutz based in Saarbrücken.
