Considering how positively its business has developed, DERECO – the Cologne-based multi-family office for real estate assets – has hired additional staff for its investment and asset management departments.

In October 2018, Anja Sterzenbach (aged 38) joined DERECO. A real estate expert by profession, she had previously worked for a medium-sized project developer for 14 years. As an asset and project manager, she will put her expertise to best use at DERECO in the field of DERECO’s own projects and projects DERECO has a share in.

On 1 January 2019, Stefan Tophinke (aged 33) joined the company. Trained as a real estate economist at IREBS, he had previously worked in various roles at AXA Investment Managers, JLL and Vivacon. He has worked in the investment segment for eleven years. We welcome him as a valuable new member of the acquisition and transaction departments of DERECO.

In 2018, DERECO adopted a strategic change of its investment strategy. With this new approach, DERECO is now increasingly focussing on relatively large existing properties with value-add potential, individual project developments and neighbourhood developments.
