In connection with a portfolio mandate given to it by a German entrepreneur family, the Cologne-based multi-family office for real estate DERECO sold through their Asset Management a high-quality energy-saving, fully let multi-tenant office building in Cologne-Poll by way of an asset deal. Main tenants inside the building include a private company listed on the stock exchange corporation and a government agency. The 2011 constructed office building includes two Penthouse-Apartments and comprises an overall rental space covering approx. 4,700 sqm and 50 underground parking spaces. The sale was the result of strategic portfolio optimization.

OMEGA Immobilien, also based in Cologne, has been commissioned to manage the property for the fund.

The buyers received advice on legal matters from Taylor Wessing, Hamburg, and technical consultancy services from Drees & Sommer, Dusseldorf.

Tax-related consultancy services were provided to the selling party by ECOVIS, Dusseldorf.

The parties have agreed not to disclose any details concerning the selling price.
